Advanced Referendum Polls Identified

The City of Prince George has established its advanced polls for the referendum on replacing Fire Hall #1 and the Four Seasons pool. The City is asking residents for approval to borrow $15 million to rebuild the fire hall and $35 million to rebuild the pool.
 
The Advanced voting options are as follows:

Wednesday, October 18, 2017
8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
University of Northern British Columbia, 3333 University Way, Prince George, in Room 7-170 in the Bentley Centre (Note: Pay Parking in Effect)
AND
Prince George City Hall, 1100 Patricia Boulevard, Prince George, in the Annex

Thursday, October 19, 2017

General Voting day is October 28th at the following locations:

John McInnis Centre
DP Todd Secondary School
Kelly Road Secondary School
Edgewood Elementary School
Malaspina Elementary School
Ron Brent Elementary School
Vanway Elementary School
Blackburn Elementary School

Polls are open from 8 a.m. To 8 p.m.
To be eligible to vote in the referendum, you must be:

18 years of age or older on general voting day for the election or assent voting; and
a Canadian citizen; and
a Resident of British Columbia for at least six (6) months immediately before the day of registration; and
a Resident of the City of Prince George for at least thirty (30) days immediately before the day of registration; and
Not disqualified under the Local Government Act or any other enactment from voting in the assent voting or ortherwise disqualified by law.

Resident electors must produce two (2) pieces of identification (at least one with a signature). Picture identification is not necessary. The identification must prove both residency and identity.
