Attempted Jumper Saved from Quesnel Bridge

A man was saved after an attempt to jump off the Quesnel River Bridge late yesterday afternoon. Quesnel RCMP received numerous calls at around 4:30 p.m. When the officers arrived on the scene, they found the man on the other side of the rail. After several attempts at convincing the man to come back over the rail, officials were able to pull him back to safety. The man was suffering from serious anxiety and was taken to hospital for treatment.
