Kyle Johnson and Ethan de Jong will have a chance to represent their country again this year.

The two Spruce Kings forwards have received invites to Team Canada West’s selection camp for the World Junior A Challenge, which takes place December 10th to 16th in Truro, Nova Scotia.

Both players were invited to last year’s camp, and Johnson ended up making the team, posting 2 assists as Team Canada West finished 5th.

Spruce Kings general manager Mike Hawes said in a statement “We are very happy for Kyle and Ethan. Both are tremendous individuals who play huge roles on our team. They are very deserving of this opportunity to tryout for Team Canada West and I know they will represent themselves and the Spruce Kings organization very well.”
