Some fire department volunteers within the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George are concerned for their safety and for those they’re trying to help.  According to Ferndale/Tabor Fire Chief Bryant Kemble, in recent years there has been an increase of two-way radio interference on the emergency channels, which can obstruct communications between themselves and the dispatcher. District staff got the nod from the board to purchase a piece of equipment to find the source of the interference.
