Quesnel School Set To Reopen

A mothballed school in Quesnel will soon reopen while another will close. The province announcing today a total of 1.7 million dollars to renovate the currently closed Maple Drive Middle school. Once complete this spring, over four hundred students in Grades 8 and 9 are expected to transition from the ageing Quesnel Junior School into the newer Maple Drive location. The funding will cover the costs of renovations, two portables and the move itself.
