Water Main Nears Completion

Residents of the Hart are being asked to save water between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. tomorrow. Crews from the City and IDL Projects will tie in a new water line to a pumping station just north of North Nechako Road. City officials say residents can expect to see some discolouration in their water. So they’re suggesting residents run their taps until the water is clear and particularly before using a washing machine. The 9.5 million dollar project includes a new 3.6-kilometre long water line and a replacement of a water pumping station near Vellencher Road.
