Smithers Man Arrested Following Drug Trafficking Investigation

A Smithers man was arrested today by RCMP following a drug trafficking investigation. Yesterday police had issued a search warrant for the man after they seized a variety of drugs including cocaine, crystal meth, and heroin along with several weapons. The man is known by police and is expected to be charged with a similar offence that occurred previously. His court date is scheduled for a later date.
