Azulejos is known as a form of art painted on ceramic tiles. The brightly coloured glazed earthenware tiles have become a part of the Portuguese culture for over five centuries. Azulejos can be found on the interior and exterior of a building, in Portuguese-speaking countries. The Prince George Immigrant and Multicultural Service Society is hosting some examples of this 500-year-old form of art. The exhibition consists of 21 panels that are on display, Friday, December 15 and Saturday, December 16, 10:30 am to 4:00 each day, at IMSS 1270 2nd Avenue.
