Cougars Active Heading In To Trade Deadline

The WHL trade deadline is tomorrow at 2 pm, and even though the Cougars have already made their share of deals, there could be more to come. Over the last 10 days, the Cougars have shipped out veterans like Ethan O’Rourke, Kody McDonald and Jesse Gabrielle, and acquired a number of young players and draft picks. The Cougars say they’re still trying to make the playoffs this year, but at the same time building towards a more competitive team in the future. We asked general manager Todd Harkins if we can expect to see any more deals before tomorrow’s deadline.
