PG Humane Society Break In

PRINCE GEORGE- The Prince George Humane Society was left in the cold this morning. Around 7, staff received a call from their security company saying someone had broken the glass door and entered the building. Luckily, none of the animals were harmed and all were accounted for. Staff say the only thing stolen was the cash float. The door was fixed earlier this morning. Now, it needs help to cover the cost of the door replacement as well as a better security system. “We do have a security system, but unfortunately we don’t have security cameras,” says Executive Director, Angela McLaren, “for people that want to make cash donations, they can come down to our adoption and humane information centre and make a donation.”
