The Prince George Cougars dropped the opener of their two-game US Division road trip, losing 6-2 to the Spokane Chiefs Friday, at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena.  Aaron Boyd and Liam Ryan scoring for the Cats.  The team moves to Kennewick to face the Americans tonight

The Spruce Kings downed by the Cowichan Valley Capitals at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena last night – wtih a 2-1 score.  Ben Brar scored the lone Kings goal.  The Kings have a little downtime before hosting Penticton on January 18th.
