PRINCE GEORGE — Protesters around the globe marched for equal rights Saturday. In Prince George, women and men of all ages and races participated in this year’s Women’s March. Organizer, Zoe Meletis, says it was a successful event as all genders were on hand. The goal of the event is to show solidarity for marginalized groups in the community.

“We had young people, old people, people of all races, of all identities,” says Meletis, “it was great to see a lot of men there. People just don’t want to be bystanders, we want people to take action and work to improve our great communities.”
