The Kin arenas were packed with figure skaters from all across the north this weekend for the annual regional championships. There were close to 250 skaters in total, with athletes coming from as far away as Fort Nelson for what is the biggest event of the year for many of the kids. The Northern BC Centre for Skating in Prince George had a record 40 skaters competing, including 6 boys which was also a new high for the club. We caught up with a couple of them to talk about how their weekend went.
