Timberwolves Headed To Winnipeg For Playoff Matchups

Both the Timberwolves men’s and women’s basketball teams are headed to Winnipeg this week for their playoff matchups.

Both teams will play a single-game play-in on Thursday, with the winner advancing to the Canada West quarterfinals.

The Timberwolves did not play Winnipeg during the regular season this year.

The UNBC and Winnipeg men’s teams finished with identical 10-10 records, while the lady T-Wolves finished 9-11 and the Wesmen women’s team went 14-6.

With both basketball teams making the playoffs, this is the first time in UNBC history that all four sports teams (inlcuding men’s and women’s soccer) made the U Sports playoffs in the same year.
