The Timberwolves women's basketball team leaves tonight for Winnipeg as they get set for their playoff matchup against the Wesmen on Thursday. UNBC and Winnipeg didn't play this year during the regular season but they did meet once in the pre-season. The Timberwolves go in to the single-game play-in as the underdogs with their 9 and 11 regular season record, up against the Wesmen who went 14 and 6 this season. But the T-Wolves wouldn't have it any other way.

The Timberwolves mens basketball team will also be taking on the Winnipeg Wesmen in their playoff matchup on Thursday. Even though the Wesmen are the 6-Seed and the T-Wolves are the 11-Seed, they actually both had identical 10-and-10 records this year. UNBC and Winnipeg didn't play in the regular season, but the T-Wolves have been studying film and are well-prepared heading in to the game Thursday.
