Transportation Ministry Open House In Quesnel

QUESNEL – Quesnel area residents will get their chance to comment on the future of Highway 97 in their community.  The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure is hosting an Open House on the issue Wednesday.

The Ministry says it is looking for feedback on short, medium and long-term solutions to improve the Highway 97 corridor.  

Following the Open House, the Ministry is looking to use the information from meeting to produce a Transportation Plan for Quesnel.  It will also provide information on reconfiguration plans for part of Front Street to increase safety and improve traffic flow. 

The Open House runs from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Quesnel and District Seniors’ Community Centre on Carson Avenue.
