Air Quality Advisory Continues In Vanderhoof

VANDERHOOF- The air quality advisory continues this morning in Vanderhoof due to a high concentration of fine particulate matter. Increased wind speeds today should improve conditions but depending on emissions, this advisory may continue until Tuesday when the weather changes. Those with underlying medical issues should avoid strenuous outdoor activities, as it may be hard to breathe. Infants and seniors are the most at risk to be affected by the advisory. Air quality in Prince George is rated at 5 this morning, meaning a moderate risk.
