PRINCE GEORGE — It’s a grassroots movement of Indigenous and non-Indigenous men and boys who are standing up against violence towards women and children.  Today an event at UNBC was part of the growing Moose Hide Campaign.

The local group joining three others around the province will have some participants taking part in a fast from sun up to sun down.  The Moose Hide campaign began 7 years ago.

Those who wear the moose hide commit to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in their lives and to work together to end violence against women and children.
