Elder Abuse & Information Line

Prince George – They are mothers, fathers, grandparents and great-grandparents. They are also friends or neighbour. Some suffer in silence. BC Centre for Elders Advocacy group has a phone number older adults and those who care about them can call, talk about abuse or mistreatment.  Prince George Council of Seniors receives about a half a dozen phone calls a month from people wanting information about elder abuse. A provincial based information call line is also available with extended hours, were victims or witness can speak to operators in multiple languages. The Seniors Abuse and Information Line is Toll-Free at 1 866 437 1940.
