Golden Bears Top T-Wolves In Game One Of Series

After winning the first U Sports playoff game in UNBC history last week, the Timberwolves men’s basketball team were looking to add playoff wins number 2 and 3 this weekend.

Unfortunately, the T-Wolves fell to the hands of the University of Alberta Golden Bears in their first game. Jovan Leemee had a strong performance with 16 points, along with Pluznikov who also making 16 points in the game. The Bears are the defending Canada West champions and went 19 and 1 this year. The T-Wolves take on the Bears again on Saturday.
