Fire On Nixon Crescent

PRINCE GEORGE – At around 5 am this morning, local Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire on the 2800 block of Nixon Crescent. The blaze began with a vehicle in a carport and then it quickly spread to the attic of the attached home. The fire in the attic was contained quickly by crews so that it didn’t spread to the rest of the home. As a result, there was minimum smoke and water damage. However, the carport and vehicle were a complete loss, but there were no injuries reported. Crews from three fire halls responded to the blaze.
