Open House Scheduled For Ron Brent Park Redevelopment

PRINCE GEORGE – The City is hosting an open house next week on the Ron Brent Park redevelopment. Residents are invited to see the plan along with providing any feedback next Tuesday from 5 – 8 pm at Ron Brent Elementary school.

The concept plan of the second out of three phases includes paved trails, recreation facilities, horseshoe pits, raised gardens, benches, picnic tables and lighting. The budget for the second phase is $400,000.

The first phase was last year’s completion of the new playground and field at Ron Brent Elementary school.

The third phase with future funding is expected to include a pickleball court and winter skating surface, a toboggan hill platform, outdoor fitness equipment and additional horseshoe pits.
