Local Biathletes Training With Laser Rifles For BC Winter Games

Biathlon events at the BC Winter Games get underway tomorrow, but there’s not going to be any snow or skis. That’s right, Kamloops doesn’t have a biathlon range. So the athletes will have to use laser rifles and will have to run instead of ski. It’s a pretty big curveball, but our local biathletes are taking it in stride, thanks to some help from the family of one of Prince George’s Olympic biathletes.
