Feb 23, 2018 | 10:20 AM

PRINCE GEORGE — Due to the on-going heavy snowfall, City crews are in full operation this morning, clearing all priority routes throughout the city. Crews will continue to clear priority routes through the weekend.

Motorists are reminded that winter parking restrictions are in effect, so it’s important that you drive cautiously when around road crews.

Keep in mind that Priority One and Two routes are expected to be cleared 48 hours after the snowfall ends. Priority Three routes will be cleared 72 hours after priority routes one and two are completed. Check out the City’s website for more information on the snow clearing of priority routes.

A reminder that parking restrictions include on-street parking in the downtown from midnight to 7 am, on-street parking on Priority One roads and hills, the Hospital District and a number of other designated roads from 10 pm to 7 am and on-street parking in residential areas from 8 am to 6 pm, except for the side of the street that has odd house numbers from 6 pm to 8 am unless otherwise posted. You can get a $50 ticket for parking your vehicle or it may be towed.
