PRINCE GEORGE — The BC Farmers’ Market Association is looking for support for its coupon program.

The program provides low-income families and seniors with coupons to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, and dairy products at Farmers’ Markets. Last year alone, more than 30-thousand dollars was invested into the local market through this program.

Now the Association is asking local governments and residents to write to Health Minister Adrian Dix for the program’s continued success.

The BC Farmers’ Market Association is encouraging civic officials and residents to write to Health Minister Adrian Dix to ensure this successful program continues.
