VANDERHOOF – Earlier this week, a Vanderhoof resident was reported to have been in possession of wildlife meat obtained out of season.

In collaboration with local RCMP on Tuesday, the Conservation Office conducted a search warrant at the residence. After searching the home, several possible charges may come, including possession of prohibited weapons, possession of stolen property and breach of recognizance.

The investigation is ongoing.
