PRINCE GEORGE — Representatives of the City are heading to Vancouver this week to take part in Globe Forum 2018. It’s an event that happens every two years and has business and government leaders from across 50 countries. The City will have a booth at this year’s event alongside some local businesses.

“We’ve encouraged several businesses in Prince George who are in the cleantech world to attend the conference because there are lots of opportunities for business-to-business sales, collaboration, investment,” explains Melissa Barcellos, Economic Development Officer for the City. “And the provincial staff, who are hosting this conference, are doing a lot of work to facilitate that.”

She says, given recent developments with international trade opportunities, Prince George is in an ideal place to take advantage of cleantech opportunities.
