PRINCE GEORGE – RCMP are warning businesses about counterfeit money that’s been making the rounds in the city.

Mounties say they’ve dealt with several reports recently of people passing phoney Canadian and American bills. Specifically, the counterfeit Canadian $100 bills were being passed around.

Yesterday afternoon, a local business reported that two Caucasian males between 20-30 years of age purchased several items of merchandise with the phoney bills.

The $100 bills may look real, but they’re missing multiple security features.
