Man Charged Following Nightclub Incident

FORT ST. JOHN – A Fort St. John man has been charged following a stabbing incident that occurred early Sunday morning. At around 2 am, police responded to an alleged stabbing that took place outside a local nightclub. Two victims were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

19 year old, Shaquen Mundt has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault. He appears in Provincial Court on May 16th.

As the investigation continues, RCMP believe alcohol may have been a contributing factor. If anyone has information about the incident, they are to contact Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8100.
