Aggravated Assault Charges Laid In Stabbings

FORT ST JOHN – Mounties in Fort St John are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred outside a nightclub earlier this month.
Police say they were called to the nightclub early in the morning of Tuesday, March 13th. They found a man in the parking lot of the club with stab wounds. He was transported to hospital immediately in serious condition. While at the hospital, police discovered another victim who had been stabbed. His injuries were not life-threatening.
It took little time for police to identify and locate the suspect in the case. He was found a short distance away from the club. He was also suffering from a stab wound. Mounties say charges of aggravated assault have been laid in the matter.
Police believe the stabbing was preceded by an alcohol-fueled argument. They’re hoping others who witnessed the stabbings will come forward.
