The Prince George Spruce Kings will have their work cut out for them Tuesday night. The night has now fallen behind in the Fred Page Cup 3-0 and will have to win the next four games if they want to become BCHL Champions.

It was a marathon affair Monday night as both teams traded blows throughout the contest.

Blake Hayward scored two goals for the second straight game and Ethan de Jong cracked the scoresheet again after being held pointless for the first two meetings in the series.

The Wild won the game in the second overtime off a battle along the boards. The puck scooted out to Zak Galambos, who roofed the winner. AJ Vanderbeck had another big game for the squad, scoring a goal and two assists.
