Evacuation alert lifted for Lejac wildfire

FRASER LAKE — A sense of relief in the Fraser Lake area as the Regional District of Bulkley-Nechako has lifted the evacuation alert prompted by the Lejac wildfire.
The 236 hectare human-caused fire, which broke out last weekend, is now considered held by the Prince George Fire Centre.
Fire Information Officer Molly Blower says 45 firefighters remain in the area.
The blaze forced an evacuation order and alert on Saturday.
