The Prince George Thunderbirds kicked off their July by renting a house in the Lower Mainland for a week and a half as the teenage girls played back to back tournaments, culminating at Provincials. At the BC-wide tournament, they dominated, earning them a spot in this weekend’s Westerns. They’ve been in the spotlight, and they’ll continue to be, as will their clean-up hitter, who had a little extra to celebrate at Provincials.
