Firefighters douse structure fire in College Heights

PRINCE GEORGE — A structure fire in College Heights Monday afternoon caused an estimated $120,000 in damages.

Prince George Fire Rescue responded to the home, located on the 6000 block of Simon Fraser Avenue, at approximately 4 p.m. to find heavy smoke inside the home.

Fire crews doused the blaze on the main floor of the residence. No one was home at the time and the cause is under investigation.

The City says emergency support services were activated to provide assistance to the residents.
