Snowfall warning in effect for Pine Pass

Dec 9, 2025 | 2:00 PM

PRINCE GEORGE — Environment and Climate Change Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Williston Region and Pine Pass.

The national forecaster says 15 to 25 centimetres is expected to fall between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Environment Canada says 50 centimetres of snow fell between Sunday and Tuesday afternoon.

Environment Canada attributes the snow to a low pressure system moving into the northern Interior and notes travel will likely be challenging with reduced visibility and possible road closures.
