Elementary School Basketball Tournament Set For November

Nov 1, 2017 | 2:36 PM

The Junior Timberwolves basketball program is giving kids from eight different elementary schools the chance to play in a basketball tournament on their Pro-D Day next month. The tournament is being organized by Timberwolves men’s basketball team assistant coach Nav Parmar, with the goal of giving less fortunate kids a chance to get involved in basketball. Parmar does a lot of outreach programs with the Junior Timberwolves, and also organizes the award-winning 3-on-3 Summer Hoops Classic for high school basketball players. This is the first year for the elementary school basketball tournament, but Parmar is hoping to see it thrive for years to come.
