Air Quality Advisory in Vanderhoof

Nov 9, 2017 | 8:03 AM

An Air Quality Advisory is in place in Vanderhoof.  The Ministry of Environment says pollution from wood stoves, transportation methods and road dust are behind the Advisory.  Anyone with chronic underlying medical conditions should postpone strenuous exercise until the advisory is lifted. An open burning restriction is in place until Saturday morning in the Vanderhoof Forest District.

Meantime an Air Quality Advisory for Burns Lake has ended.
