Snowfall Warnings In Effect

Snowfall warnings are in effect for the following regions: Chilcotin, North Coast, Bulkley Valley and The Lakes, Williston, B.C. Peace River, Yellowhead and North Columbia. There is also a winter storm warning for McGregor with hazardous conditions and 35 cm of snowfall expected by Sunday afternoon.

With 20 cm of snow expected in many of the regions, the warnings were in effect as early as 4 a.m. this morning. Regions including Yellowhead and North Columbia have had their warnings in place since the afternoon. The snowfall warning will stay in effect until further notice.
