Jameson Jones Night Brings In More Than $4000

The Cariboo Cougars game on Saturday was extra special because it was the team’s 8th annual Jameson Jones Night. Jameson is a local 14-year-old who has beaten brain cancer twice, and once a year the Cariboo Cougars raise money in his name to donate to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. On Saturday, Jameson was on hand for the game and dropped the puck for the ceremonial faceoff. This year, the Cariboo Cougars were able to raise over $4,000 dollars for the Hospital Foundation.
