Business Ambassadors To Help Wildfire Recovery

Businesses impacted by this summer’s wildfires in the Cariboo-Chilcotin are getting some support from the Northern Development Initiative Trust. As a result of the worst wildfire season in provincial history, many businesses in the Cariboo-Chilcotin are struggling to recover, reopen and generate revenue. While many programs and services already exist to assist with wildfire recovery efforts, accessing these resources can be a time-consuming task for busy business owners. The new “ambassadors” will help businesses match their needs to available programs and services. The Business Ambassadors will work from Quesnel, Williams Lake and Ashcroft until October 31, 2018.
