Spruce Kings Add Forward For Next Season

The Prince George Spruce Kings have added another forward to their roster for next year. Forward Jack Hoey from Choate Rosemary Hall Academy signed with the Spruce Kings for the 2018/19 season.

Hoey, from Fairfield, Connecticut posted 33 goals and 68 points in 93 high school career games down in the US.

Hoey will be looking to hone his game with the Spruce Kings as he prepares for college hockey at Colgate University.

Spruce Kings Assistant Coach Alex Evin who play for Colgate had a big influence in recruiting Hoey. “We are excited for Jack to join us next season. He is a quality person on and off the ice and will be able to fit in with our fast, transition style of hockey. Jack will continue to be a good leader for the Choate hockey program before he joins us in the fall.”
