Timberwolves Take Down Bobcats

It was a successful weekend for the Timberwolves in Brandon, as the women’s basketball team swept the Bobcats and the men’s team split their two meetings.

Saturday night, the women’s team outscored the Bobcats 28-12 in the fourth quarter to take it 76-71.

Maria Mongomo led the way for the Timberwolves with 23 points and 10 rebounds, while Vasiliki Louka had 18 points and 16 boards.

With the wins, the T-Wolves improve their record to 8-8 this season.

The men’s team’s three-game win streak came to an end Saturday night, as they faded in the second half of their game, falling 89-76 to the Bobcats.
