Fort St. James Speed Skater Officially Named To Olympic Team

Fort St. James’ Jamie Macdonald has officially made the cut for Team Canada’s short track speed skating team for the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games.

Macdonald was officially named to the team today, along with nine other skaters.

Macdonald will be competing in the 500m and women’s relay. Qualifiers for those events take place Saturday, February 10th.

Macdonald grew up skating for the Fort St. James Falcons before moving to Calgary before her grade 12 year.
