A Reminder To Pull Over For Emergency Vehicles

PRINCE GEORGE – Prince George RCMP want to remind motorists to drive according to winter conditions, make sure your vehicle is visible, and pull over for emergency vehicles. The heavy snowfall has emergency vehicles responding to more incidents, and drivers must pull over and stop to allow emergency vehicles with activated lights and sirens to pass. Failure to do so is an offence, not to mention it can slow down emergency response times and possibly cost someone their life.  Police are asking motorists to reconsider the need to drive today if you don’t need to.
