PRINCE GEORGE — While driving conditions are bad in the City, several travel advisories have been issued for major highway routes in the Interior.

Several travel advisories have been issued by Drive BC.

Drive BC is warning travellers should postpone highway driving until the weather improves. Heavy snowfall from Hixon to 100 Mile House is affecting visibility. If you must travel, ensure you have proper winter tires and an emergency kit in your vehicle.

On Highway 16, there's limited visibility with heavy snowfall in both directions from Bednesti to Prince George.

On Highway 97, there's also limited visibility with heavy snowfall in both directions from Prince George to Salmon Valley.
