PRINCE GEORGE- For those staying close to home this Family Day, there’s a handful of activities for Prince George families to enjoy. The Northern Sport Centre in partnership with Engage Sport North, City of Prince George, and the UNBC Timberwolves are hosting a morning of free sports from 9 until noon. Sports include pickleball, boxing, soccer, and badminton for all ages and abilities.
For fun in the snow, Otway, the Hart Ski Hill, and Ness Lake Bible Camp are open for families today however, Powder King is closed due to a mechanical issue.
The Rolling Mix Concrete Arena is open from 2-4 for a public skate.
The Prince George Cougars take on the Red Deer Rebels this afternoon at 2. Fans will be invited on to the rink after the game to paint the ice.
