Romance Celebrated In Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE – There’s romance in the air today.  Not just because it’s Valentines Day but because we’re in Prince George.  Afterall, the city has been named is the 13th ranked Most Romantic City in a survey produced by Amazon.ca. 

The retailer compiles the annual rankings from sales of romance-related products like books, movies, and wellness products. 

Brenda Margriet is a romance novelist based in BC’s Northern Capital.  Two of her books are in the region.  “The University is in two of my books,” Margriet says.  “Brains and intelligence are sexy as well and I like to have people who are really smart and strong-willed in my stories.  And I think Prince George is full of those kinds of people.”

Prince George is one of nine BC cities to make the top-twenty list.  Victoria is ranked number one, just ahead of Abbotsford.
