Small Fire At Plateau Sawmill In Vanderhoof

VANDERHOOF — Canfor is confirming a small fire occurred yesterday at the Plateau Sawmill in Vanderhoof. It says employees responded quickly and followed all procedures by evacuating and notifying emergency services. The Vanderhoof Fire Department responded to the call and contained the fire quickly.

Canfor says the mill was back up and running by yesterday evening.
