Spruce Kings Ready For Royal Rivalry

The Spruce Kings start their third round of playoffs on Friday against the Powell River Kings. The team’s had a pair of thrilling matchups, both culminating in a seventh game finale. After a sellout crowd Sunday night, Rolling Mix and the team that plays in it took a couple days just to breath.  One player that knows a bit about this Powell River team is newly acquired Tyson Slater. Back in 2015, Slater got his start in the BCHL with Powell River, after growing up in Courtenay, BC.
