VANDERHOOF – Fraser Lake Elementary Secondary School will be joining the Moose Hide Campaign on Tuesday in an effort to take a stand against violence towards women and children.

At the event, 10 high school men will be fasting during the day to show their commitment to ending violence against women and children.

“We are so inspired by the strength and leadership being demonstrated by these 10 young men who will be fasting on April 24th, and we are so grateful to the leaders at the Fraser Lake Elementary Secondary School for their support of this important work,” said Paul Lacerte, Moose Hide Campaign Co-Founder.

People are encouraged to wear moose hide pins to honour the women and children in their lives.
